In the Philippines that would be the Coconut Tree.
It is named as so because of its versatility. The fruit is food, the sap a beverage, teh husks are made into wooden polishers, the leaves are used to make baskets-brooms-nipa roofs-mat-name it, the bark can be used to make houses-rafts and etc. The coconut tree is enough for a simple man to live. Hence it is a wonder tree =)
